Did not see the race. Saw the F1.com review video. My takeaways:
The race that bought strategy and condition reading to the fore and taught that you still need to use your brains post qualifying
Kubica is going strong and will give the Hamilton and Ferrari’s a serious run for their money
Kovalainen after a strong start to [...]

After all the talks of Magny-cours not hosting the French GP, we had the GP here and what a dominant performance it was from Ferrari. My key takeaways:
Rules are stupid and only thing more stupid are the stewards implementing them… Hamilton’s drive through was not required and incorrect
Toyota punched another solid performance after Canadian
Kovaleinnen is [...]

‘Hopeless’ is the only word that I have for this race. I really cannot understand why does the pit lane need to close when safety car is out on track. For it’s too difficult for somebody who’s running empty tank or was planning the pit stop just on the lap SC came out. Anyways, [...]

One heck of an eventful race from start to finish. And as a first, I saw a race being timed out. Major takeaways from the race:
Monaco is not a circuit for the faint hearted and with rain, even for the iron-hearted will have a hard time
Force India have realised that engine is a thing that [...]

Thursday was the last practice day pre-race weekend. The session gives you a good peak into the setup being run by the teams for this street circuit. The first session belonged to Ferrari and Raikkonen, with just under 1:16 a lap. Hamilton was a close second with 2/10ths of a second behind.
The second practice is [...]

Day 2 at Paul Ricard saw Ferrari & Raiki regaining ground on McLaren & Hamilton, though rains and hence a wet track had Honda’s Trulli rack up the fastest times at 1:31 and abouts. With focus squarely on Monaco and it’s street circuit, the configurations were setup to simulate Monaco and a close fight between [...]

Day 1 results from testing at Le Castelett Circuit buildup on what was already very visible in the Turkish GP. McLaren have been able to improve the overall package considerably and Hamilton has led the Day 1 timesheets at Paul Ricard. With one driver per team testing, the overall pecking order has remained the same [...]

This looks like the last Magny-Cours as Bernie has been talk for a few days. Oh, but has he not been doing taht for last few years… we all heard how every commentator and journalist bid a emotional farewell to Magny-Cours last year, just to told a few months later that they will be coming [...]
